PinPitch Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how PinPitch, an app published by Midnight Labs, LLC ("we", "us"), handles information when you use the app. We designed PinPitch to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

  • Your machines & leveling history. The pinball machines you save and their readings are stored locally on your device. If you sign in, this data is also backed up to your private cloud account so it can sync across your devices.
  • Account information (optional). Signing in is optional. If you do, we receive a basic account identifier and email address from Apple or Google to create your account — we never see your password.
  • Motion sensor data. PinPitch reads your device's motion sensors to measure level and pitch. This is processed on-device in real time and is not transmitted to us or stored.
  • Purchases. If you buy PinPitch Pro, the transaction is handled by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of your purchase status but not your payment details.

How we use information

  • To provide the app's features and save your machines and history.
  • To back up and sync your data across your devices when you're signed in.
  • To unlock and restore Pro features you've purchased.
  • To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use advertising trackers.

Third-party services

PinPitch relies on a small number of trusted providers:

  • Google Firebase (Authentication & Cloud Firestore) — account sign-in and cloud sync.
  • Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In — optional authentication.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — in-app purchases.
  • The Open Pinball Database (OPDB) — machine name lookups you initiate.

Data retention & deletion

On-device data is removed when you delete the app. If you have an account, you can request deletion of your account and all synced data at any time by emailing us — we'll remove it promptly.

Children's privacy

PinPitch is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
